Safe2Tell Report at Steamboat Springs High School Leads to Immediate Investigation, No Credible Threat Found

Around 12:30 p.m. today, the Steamboat Springs School District and the Steamboat Springs Police Department received a Safe2Tell reporting a student with a gun at Steamboat Springs High School.

The report was immediately investigated by local law enforcement, and no credible threat was found. There were no disruptions to the school day. 

SSPD encourages anyone who is concerned about school safety to utilize Safe2Tell (Safe2Tell.org). Safe2Tell is an anonymous way for students, parents, and the community to report any issues.
